Inter Are Better Than Juventus, But Scudetto Race Is Still Open: Marco Tardelli

Marco Tardelli believes Inter are far stronger than Juventus, but is well aware that the Turin-based powerhouse are still in with a shout of Scudetto glory.

Juve welcome Jose Mourinho's men on Saturday night. Maximum points are vital for Ciro Ferrara's charges following their loss to Cagliari last week.

Anything less could see hopes of glory dampened. Inter come to town with the aim of scuppering chances of success at Vinovo, but Tardelli has offered his old side a source of hope.

"Jose Mourinho has the more complete and competitive squad, but the fight is still very open," Tardelli told Tuttosport.

"Juventus also have a team of champions and they can add value to the team. I am expecting a nice game on Saturday."

Noise surrounding the Mario Balotelli saga has been resonant this week, with fears the match could be abandoned should fans spark controversy by booing the Inter man. Tardelli believes the players should not worry.

"I think the teams should be calm. They most not make polemic statements or suggest things that will make the atmosphere even more tense," he concluded.
